HORIZONTAL BELT SPLITTING MACHINE FOR MARBLE AND AGGLOMERATE

Thanks to this new model we have created a machine which is very compact, easy to use and adjust, fit to mount both Ø 350 and Ø 450 diamond discs in order to reach a maximum workable width of 310 mm. This machine has been particularly designed for small tiles processing (10x10 – 15x15 – 20x20). The diamond tools are directly mounted on the shaft of special spindle-engines, suitable to support both radial and axial stresses. The flange-equipped engines are fixed to the machine mobile body and their wheel-base can be changed for fitting to the different disc diameters. Two side-columns are fixed to the bedplate and drive the vertical sliding of the machine mobile body which supports the 4 spindle-engines. The up-down movement of the mobile body, and thus simultaneously of the 4 spindle-engines, is electric and displayed. Together with the mobile bridge and the discs, also the plate supporting the upper strip and the side-guides are moved. Therefore the workable thickness change is very easy and precise. The single adjustment of each disc is directly made on the shaft of the disc-holder spindle-engine. Thanks to the spindle exclusion and to the consequent belt drive, a cost reduction and a noise source elimination are granted. This latter feature, added to the other devices we adopt during machine fabrication, ensures a considerable drop in machine noise level.
