SUCKER LIFTING UNIT


This unit allows to lift and in the case to shift a slab only if one surface of which is concerned with the hooking device. Thanks to its handiness, this unit is useful for the strip unloading from the block cutter. The slab can be hooked both in vertical or horizontal position. A pneumatic cylinder allows the 90°  (horizontal-vertical) rotation of the suckers. The picking-up is possible thanks to 10 suckers of Ø 150 mm operated by a high power vacuum pump. The unit is supplied with a safety device allowing to keep the slabs picked-up for some time also in case of vacuum pump failure due to power cut-off or other trouble.
