SUCKER LIFTING UNIT


This unit allows to lift and in the case to shift a slab only if one surface of which is concerned with the hooking device. No matter in which position the slab is laying, it can be picked-up horizontally or vertically as required. The picking-up is possible thanks to 3 suckers of Ø 370 mm operated by an high power vacuum pump. The unit is supplied with a safety device allowing to keep the slabs picked-up for some time also in case of vacuum pump failure due to power cut-off or other trouble. This pick-up unit becomes important to granite slabs loading and unloading from the polishing tables, cutters and other working granite machines. This unit, being supplied with independent suckers, provides for the slabs with holes or having minimum dimensions to be picked-up. The vacuum gearbox is sized to permit operation of two picking-up units.
